After graduating from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1985, Dr. Gary L. Griffin D.M.D. went on to practice at Baptist Hospital East for ten years. His practice moved to its current location in 1995 under the name St. Matthews Dental Care Group.
Dr. Griffin is member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Kentucky Dental Association. He also belongs to numerous societies and study groups. He is licensed to practice general dentistry in Kentucky.
Through several top institutions, Dr. Griffin has received additional, specialized education.
A clinical instructor and lecturer with the Aesthetic Advantage™ at New York University, the University of Kentucky, and West Palm Beach Florida, Dr. Griffin lectures nationally on laser, reconstructive, and aesthetic dentistry.

We are located between Nanz and Grandview, at 219 Breckenridge Lane. Enter from the alley in the rear of the building. The entrance is on the far back right of the building, through the glass block entryway.
We are associated with the St. Matthews Dental Care Group.
We accept most any insurance that doesn't require the patient to see a doctor on their list, i.e. PPOs and DMOs.
For diagnostic and routine preventive care there is usually no out of pocket expense. An example would be the initial complete exam and a routine adult cleaning. We will file your insurance. if there is a difference in our fee and what the insurance pays, we will either refund or bill the guest for services.
Major and minor restorative will be figured for guests insurance coverage. Co-pay payments are expected at time of service.
Payment plans are available for services not covered or that go beyond the guest's available benefits.
We are located in the heart of St. Matthews, and are easy to reach coming from any direction.
